VENICE, Fla. (SNN TV) — The City of Venice Holiday Parade is in its 47th year. It's taking place this Saturday, Nov. 25.

You can start setting up chairs along the parade route after 6 p.m. Wednesday, but it's at your own risk. You can't set up chairs in the medians in the 100 to 300 blocks of West Venice Avenue.

Pre-parade entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m. The parade officially begins at 6:30 p.m.

Public parking is available at Venice High School.

The parade begins at corner of Park Boulevard and West Venice Avenue on the south side. It'll proceed on the north side of West Venice Avenue after crossing over Harbor Drive. Then it'll turn onto Nokomis Avenue and travel down to Turin Street. Floats will unload at the Venice Community Center.

If you bring nonperishable food and donations, Boy Scout Troop 77 will collect it at the start of the Holiday Parade
