SARASOTA- It’s spooky season and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens was prepared with their annual Spooktacular event.

Hundreds of people came out to this family-friendly event dressed up in their costumes and ready to enjoy all of the activities the gardens had to offer.

“It’s very family friendly, kid friendly. It’s perfect for their age, they’ve enjoyed trick-or-treating. This is their first trick-or-treating event so it’s a great little introduction for them,” said an event attendee.

Families enjoyed an inflatable corn maze, balloon art, great photo opportunities and more.

“We love the energy that the kids and families bring to Selby Spooktacular every year and it’s just a fun day for all of our team. My favorite part is seeing all of the kids dressed up, having so much fun, enjoying the arts and crafts and the balloon art and just spending time with their families,” said Chief Operating Officer at Selby, Wendy Deming.

This was the 7th year the gardens hosted the Selby Spooktacular.

The event was a great way to bring families together to celebrate Halloween and explore the gardens.

Food and beverages were also available for purchase from the Selby House Cafe.
