FLORIDA (SNN TV) - Florida taxpayers pay $615,000 for the governor to fly Texas migrants to Massachusetts.

According to USA Today Florida, that's the amount of money Governor Ron DeSantis used to relocate 50 Venezuelan migrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard.

DeSantis' opponent, Democrat Charlie Crist, tweeted the amount, saying Floridians paid 12-thousand 300 dollars for each refugee in Texas.

DeSantis says there will likely be more buses and more flights sending immigrants out of state.

The immigrants who were sent to Martha's Vineyard were going through a legal immigration process known as seeking asylum.
