ARLINGTON, TX (SNN-TV) - The Rays hit the road to Arlington yesterday, as they began a 4-game set with the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field.

Texas CF Eli White made a spectacular leaping catch to take away a three-run homer from Ji-Man Choi in the first inning, and he later hit a long home run as the Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 9-5 last night.

Jonah Heim also homered and Kole Calhoun drove in three runs for Texas, which with a win tonight could reach .500 for the first time this season.

Tonight's game 2 is set to begin at 8:05 and Rangers starter Martin Perez and his MLB-leading 1.60 ERA will go toe-to-toe with Rays starter Ryan Yarbrough.
