The Sarasota County School Board will vote on whether to accept Superintendent Todd Bowden's resignation today. Bowden has been vilified  by those saying he ignored complaints of sexual harassment by his chief deputy. He announced last week that he would step down from his position, and on Today the board is set to accept his exit package and appoint an interim superintendent.

The board meets at 2:45 p.m. to elect a new board chair before their 3 p.m. board meeting. Bowden's exit package and the appointment of an interim superintendent will be discussed at the 3 p.m. meeting.
