Sarasota man arrested after crashing a car into a home
SARASOTA- A Sarasota man in custody after driving a car into a house Thursday night. 37-year-old Lousner Silencieux is facing charges of driving with knowledge of a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and hit and run crash.
Sarasota Police responded to the 1400 block of Myrtle Street just after 9 PM for reports of a vehicle crashing into a home. According to Police, the driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons after crossing the railroad tracks. The car collided into the front of the home sustaining front end damage, the garage of the home also sustained minor damages.
Five people were seen running from the vehicle, officers were able to quickly make contact with the people on Lemon Avenue and determine that Silencieux was the driver. He had a suspended license and was in possession of cocaine.
