Manatee County's Habitat for Humanity turns 25 and holds celebration
MANATEE - The event was held at the Riverwalk Pavilion in Bradenton and live music, food, refreshments, and multiple vendors were on display for visitors. Manatee County's Habitat for Humanity CEO Diana Shoemaker says 25 years for the agency is quite an accomplishment.
"It's a thrill to be celebrating our 25th anniversary. This organization started because of volunteers who were committed to ensuring that affordable housing was made available to working families and we've been able to maintain that legacy all these years because of volunteers, because of financial support, community partners, and we could not do it without them," Shoemaker said.
