SARASOTA -  The 13th Annual Sarasota Hungarian Festival saw thousands attend to soak in the culture.

The two-day event held at the Sarasota Fairgrounds allows for guest to immerse themselves in Hungarian culture by enjoying traditional food, dancing to folk music, and watching an archery show using original bows made in Hungary.

Volunteer Chris Kiss visiting from New Jersey and says this Hungarian festival makes him proud of his roots. "I love it here. This is the best Hungarian festival in the U.S." said Kiss. "We can eat here we can be together, so it’s a two in one party everything goes together. All in.”

Kiss says enjoying the Hungarian traditions always brings

 

friends and family together for a good time even though they are far away from home.
