SARASOTA -- Way back in July when we checked in with Spencer Hodges and the Sarasota Sailors, it was clear this team had the fire power to make some noise. Sarasota has been shot out of a cannon to open up the 2019 regular season. The Sailors are undefeated, and quite frankly, untested three games in, sitting with a flawless 3-0 record.

The orange and black have scored 142 points and yielded a mere nine. Good for an average margin of victory more than 44 points. What makes this domination even more impressive, is each game has resorted to a running clock.

Brain Battie has been all the hype, coming over from Braden River, already eclipsing 500 rushing yards three games in. KeAndre Collins is averaging a shade under 100 yards a game. Meanwhile, the defense giving up three points a game has logged five interceptions and 10 sacks. Lead by Hunter Bernius and his six tackles for a loss. The Sailors look to stay perfect this Friday when they host Titusville. Kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
