Bradenton man convicted of attempted murder, kidnapping
Bradenton - A man who shot a woman three times has been sentenced to life for attempted murder and kidnapping.
According to the State Attorney's office , Andre Romilus drove a woman at gunpoint to a wooded area in Bradenton August of 2018.
Romilus shot her in the neck, abdomen and leg and then left the scene
The victim survived the attack.
Romilus was sentenced Sept. 6th following a trial in which the victim testified against him.
He had been released from prison in 2016 after a conviction of grand theft.
