SARASOTA - Saturday's event is the only one that reads the name of each of the veterans buried at Sarasota National Cemetery. Once the names have been read, they leave behind a custom coin for families, friends, and loved ones supporting "no soldier should ever be forgotten."

"To me, one of the scariest things is to just be entirely forgotten so for that to happen to the people to who basically was the foundation of why we're here today was very upsetting to me so I'm trying to make sure they are remembered in one way or another," event creator Joshua Katz said.
