The Beach Club is not really flirtin’ with disaster when it welcomes back one of Florida’s most successful rock bands.
According to the Herald Tribune, Southern rock group Molly Hatchet returns to the Siesta Village nightclub on Sept. 27. Tickets are on sale now. The band hailed from Jacksonville, like their influences Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers Band. Their 1979 album, “Flirtin’ with Disaster” went double platinum, with the title track becoming the band’s biggest hit.
