GREENSBORO, NC - The Suncoast's Academy of Maximum Performance (AMP) Athletics Track Club went off to compete at the 2019 53rd Annual AAU Junior Olympic Games in Greensboro, North Carolina, and came home with some hardware.


More than 13,000 participants from 24 States including St. Thomas and the Bahamas, took part. Out of 47 student-athletes that qualified for this event from the Suncoast team, 32 of them had the opportunity to compete.

Over the course of the 8 days of competition, AMP Athletics brought home 7 medals. The following student-athletes now hold the title of All-Americans. Shaiel Jones in the 3000m Race Walk, Keymani Dillingham in the Pentathlon, Jakai Peterson in the Long jump and the 400m, Ahzaria Jones in the Long Jump, Rose-Ferla Philogene in the Triple Jump, and Declan Fiorucci in the Pole Vault
