'Floribama' moving closer to the Suncoast
Watch out "Siesta Key" your competition is getting closer. MTV's 'Floribama Shore' is moving to St. Pete for its third season. MTV is expanding its presence in the greater Tampa Bay area.
The show, which follows a group of hard–partying 20–somethings near the border of Florida and Alabama, was previously set in Panama City Beach, which suffered major damage during Hurricane Michael last October. The network said all the original cast members will move with the show to its new setting, and that it will have a fall premiere
In a video posted on the "Siesta Key" Instagram page last month, MTV announced that show will return for a third season as well, but a premiere date has not yet been announced.
