Sen. Rick Scott is coming to the Suncoast. The Former Florida governor will be making his first appearance in the region since being elected to the US Senate.  Scott will be in Sarasota on April 12th  to speak to the Argus Foundation.

He served eight years as governor before unseating Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson in November.  President  Trump recently said Scott was helping the White House craft a GOP health care plan. Scott has said that he's focused on bringing down prescription drug prices.

He will appear at a lunch event at Michael's on East that begins at 11:15 a.m. For tickets visit Argus foundation.org. The cost is $65 for Argus members and $75 for non–members.
