The director of college entrance preparation at the esteemed IMG Academy in Bradenton is facing fraud charges in connection with a nationwide bribery case that has netted two Hollywood actors.

The United States District Court in Boston charged Mark Riddell ,36, with two counts of fraud.

The court is asking for a forfeiture of nearly $500,000 in connection with the  bribery case.

Prosecutors say from 2011 to February 2019, Riddell allegedly bribed test administrators to allow him to secretly take exams in place of actual students, or to replace student's responses with his own.

According to court documents, Riddell conspired with William Rick Singer, owner of Edge College & Career Network LLC and executive officer at Key Worldwide Foundation in California, to take the exams.

The California businessman at the center of the con, Rick Singer, pleaded guilty this afternoon to multiple charges including racketeering, money laundering, and fraud.
