Scoreless through two frames, the Indians surged for four runs in the top of third inning, securing a 5-2 road victory over Riverview. Ryan Marti squared to bunt, before bringing it back and chopping one through the right side of the infield. The Tribe set up shop with runners on the corners and nobody out. A few pitches later, Bradley Miller scampered in to score the games first rub on a wild pitch.

Venice notched the win, 5-2, moving to 3-0 on the season. Riverview will be back in action on Thursday at Palm Harbor University, while Venice will host Fort Myers on Friday.
