MANATEE COUNTY - In this week's edition of Feel Good Friday, SNN's Grant Boxleitner spent time at RealRail in Bradenton.

Holiday toy trains have been a tradition around the nation for decades. Even with the technology and gadgets in the 21st century, electric toy trains that run on various styles of track are still readily available.

You can still find them in box stores, hobby shops and other retailers. And this time of year, you can often find them running around a Christmas Tree at a home or business.

RealRail is dedicated to model railroading. The nonprofit club includes members whose miniature backdrops often resemble tiny cities that sit along the tracks as their trains of various sizes snake their way around.

The location at 6804 14th Street West, Bradenton, also includes a store with trains, tracks and other accessories for sale.

RealRail President Bob Eberley talks about the history of the longtime toy train company, Lionel, during the segment, even explaining how Mickey Mouse helped save the company many years ago.
