Manatee County Sheriff's Office hopes to take 'Phantom' bite out of crime
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has a Phantom lurking in its midst.
The Manatee Kennel Club has purchased a third dog for the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The 40–member Manatee Kennel Club made the acquisition of Phantom with over $9,000 in contributions, and another $5000 coming from AKC Reunite.
Phantom is a 19–month–old Belgian Malinois, and becomes the agency's ninth patrol canine.
After his initial training, Phantom will hit the streets with Deputy Keith Sutton as the office's newest Crime Dog.
