Braden River’s Bradley pens letter to Venice, alludes to racially-insensitive tweet
BRADENTON – In a letter Friday night to Venice Head Football Coach John Peacock, who reported the Pirates’ violations, Braden River Head football coach Curt Bradley took full responsibility for the infractions that led to the sanctions but he also alluded to a racially–derogatory social media post by an Indians’ graduating player about Coach Bradley, who is multi–racial.
Coach Peacock was aware of the tweet, and it has since been removed, but Coach Bradley was tagged by the player posting the tweet.
Coach Bradley implores Coach Peacock in the letter to be above the fray, and demand better of himself and his players.
Coach Peacock, nor the Venice athletic director, could be reached for comment at the time of this posting.
