Man injured in Charlotte Co. hit and run

CHARLOTTE COUNTY – Authorities are looking for the driver of a vehicle that did not stop after hitting a pedestrian early Tuesday, April 24, in Charlotte County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a white or tan pickup traveling south on Pellam Boulevard just north of Limberlos Avenue at about 5:30 a.m. struck a 37-year-old man who was sitting on the west edge of the roadway and did not stop.
The victim was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers or the Florida Highway Patrol.
