Dry air has settled into the area, bringing rain chances way down and leaving us with abundant sunshine the end of this week. It'll gradually feel less humid throughout the day as well, which continues into Saturday. We'll reach the low 90s today, low 70s and upper 60s overnight, then 80s throughout the weekend.
A cold front continues to move slowly through the state, and while dry air is starting to move into the area, we're really not going to feel it as much until Friday and Saturday. So it'll still be humid today with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s with scattered storms beginning around mid-afternoon. This will fizzle out tonight.
It'll be muggy with a 70 percent chance of rain. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Quite a bit of rain rolled through the area overnight. We've mostly cleared out, though we're still expecting around a 40 percent chance of pop-up showers and storms today. The extra cloud cover and moister ground will both work to keep temperatures from getting too hot, mostly staying in the upper 80s and low 90s. However, the high humidity will make it feel quite a bit hotter.
