Bradenton crash kills one, injures a child


BRADENTON – According The Florida Highway patrol, a reckless driver trying to pass a vehicle caused a fatal crash Thursday morning in Bradenton. FHP charged Brandon Mulrain–Williams, 30, with vehicular homicide.

Lisa Snipes–Williams told SNN on scene that her niece was involved.

“All I know is my niece was at the stop light and getting ready to turn she was on her way to tennis and this car just came out of nowhere, behind her and clipped her on the passenger side.” , Snipes–Williams said.


Petro Chyshkevych was killed in the crash when the suspects car careened into his after clipping another vehicle from behind. His 3 year old daughter, Ivanka sustained minor injuries.


“The little girl, she’s three and she was “daddy, daddy” you know so that’s hard because at first, because of the convertible, no one knew that she was in there until they start going closer”, Snipes–Williams siad.

Mulrain–Williams sustained minor injuries.  He is in Manatee County Jail.

The FHP say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.


BRADENTON – One person is dead and a child hurt after a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Bradenton.

The crash happened at around 11 am at the intersection of 9th Ave Northwest and 75th Street Northwest in the Palma Sola area of Manatee County.

The Florida Highway Patrol tells us it involves at least four cars and there is one person dead and child injured.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
