Two sent to hospital in scaffolding crash


SARAS0TA- Two construction workers were injured when scaffolding collapsed at Mercedes Benz of Sarasota.

The Sarasota County fire department transported two persons to SMH with undetermined injuries, although they were declared trauma alerts.

It appears workers were applying stucco to an exterior wall at the dealership when the scaffolding fell away from the building.

It is not yet clear what caused the scaffolding to collapse.
