NEW YORK – Former Sarasota Sailor star, Scooter Gennett, was named the National League Player of the Week by Major League Baseball on Monday.
Last week, Scooter came up huge for the surging Cincinnati Reds. The Reds second baseman homered for the fourth time in as many days on Friday, going 4–for–5 with two runs and three RBIs against the Dodgers.
